Bids to replace the Eisenhower Bridge in downtown Anderson could potentially lower the county’s share by $2.1 million. The Herald Bulletin reports that eight companies submitted bids ranging from a low of $13.4 million to a high of $17.4. The engineer’s estimated cost was 6.3 million dollars.
