100,000 has been earmarked by Delaware County to be used in the effort to help recovery from addiction. The money, approved by commissioners this week, comes from economic development income tax revenue. The lawmakers say the scourge of addiction, including a growing heroin problem, really do fall within an economic development vein since some employers are having trouble finding workers due to factors that include addiction.
