Police in Winchester are searching for a Muncie man who escaped from police custody. 38-year old Isiah Butterfield was arrested on a charge of public intoxication, but as an officer signed paperwork, Butterfield – while still in handcuffs – ran off. Now, what would have been a simple misdemeanor charge has turned into a felony count of escape.
