A stiff sentence for a Delaware County horse trainer: He’s accused of animal cruelty and witness intimidation. The Indiana Horse Racing Commission has suspended trainer Bobby Brower for 15 years and levied a $40,000 fine on charges that he beat a race horse to the point of collapse on August 18. Witnesses allege that Brower then kicked, whipped and beat the horse after it collapsed.
