Eva Kor To Receive “Sachem” Award

The founder of the CANDLES Holocaust Museum in Terre Haute will receive Indiana’s highest honor. Governor Holcomb will present Eva Kor with the 2017 Sachem Award in a ceremony next month. The 83-year-old Holocaust survivor is the 12th recipient of the award created by Governor Mitch Daniels to honor Hoosiers for “a lifetime of excellence and moral virtue.”
