A man is being held in the Delaware County Jail after what police call his failed attempt to rob a convenience store. 57 year old Douglas Wright faces a $10,000 bond and is charged with battery. Police say he walked into the Speedway on North Granville Avenue and demanded money but ended up fleeing the store. He was caught nearby.
