On March 30th, a Democratic Party precinct caucus will select a replacement for former Alexandria Clerk-Treasurer Janet Lynch. The 25-year city official stepped down after being threatened with impeachment. Lynch has been at the center of several complaints over the past year including unregistered city vehicles, and issues with the filing of financial documents and employee insurance.
