The owners of two restaurants in Muncie and three others in Central Indiana face tax charges. Investigators say they failed to pay taxes on $1.8 million in revenues. Manuel Rodriguez Alonso and Rosalio Sanchez pleaded guilty and agreed to turn over about $143,000 in restitution to the state Department of Revenue. They own Casa Del Sol downtown and another establishment in Muncie Mall. The charges against them followed a search warrant at the restaurants executed last year at this time.
