It’s back to the drawing board for the Madison County Council as they try to find a way to finance the replacement of the Eisenhower Bridge. The council came to an impasse after a 3-3 vote on a motion to pay approximately $4.2 million in matching funds from available reserves, with the option to borrow money in the future if necessary. The council is expected to try again at its March 14 meeting.
