Madison County has rescinded a proposed agreement with the city of Anderson for the activation of warning sirens. The plan was to have the Emergency Management Agency activate all the warning sirens in the county. Communities such as Elwood and Alexandria are on board with the plan, but the City of Anderson has yet to respond.
