BSU To Keep WIPB

Ball State University is holding on to its public broadcasting station, WIPB. The school took part in the FCC’s voluntary spectrum auction two years ago and has been using the time since to determine whether it could produce quality public broadcasting as a part of achieving its academic mission. School officials say, to that end, selling the signal at this time would not be in the best interest of the university.
