A 500-thousand dollar donation for Conner Prairie: The gift was donated by Jay and Nancy Ricker – founders of Ricker’s Convenience Stores. The half-million-dollars will help rebuild and remodel the Chinese House on property and use it for special events. The house was bought by Eli Lilly, who helped start Conner Prairie in the 1930’s.
