A LaPorte County woman’s pet donkey was killed Sunday after her boyfriend shot it in the head during an argument. Deputies arrived on a report of a domestic disturbance when they found a man and a woman who were both drunk and arguing. That’s when police learned the woman’s boyfriend, shot her 5-year-old pet donkey. The man was arrested on charges of domestic battery and animal cruelty.
