After a year with an interim leader at the helm, Ball State University has announced that Geoffrey Mearns is the university’s seventeenth President in its 99 year history. President Mearns comes to Muncie after four years at Northern Kentucky. The long-in-coming announcement follows the abrupt resignation of Paul Ferguson a year ago.
