An audit of Muncie’s books is done. The State Board of Accounts tells the Star Press that it was completed this week. It’s the first time in three years one has been done since the state has cut back on the frequency of them due to a lack of auditors. It’s not clear if anything the state covered in its audit will also be addressed in an ongoing FBI probe into charges of wrongdoing within Muncie city government.
