Funds Being Raised To Buy Therapy Dog At Area School

Muncie Central High School is trying to raise money so that a therapy dog can be purchased to help students dealing with stress. The problems, say officials, could range from seniors dealing with angst over college issues to students trying to cope with a break up or problems at home. A school counselor got the idea after hearing that a teacher at her in her daughter’s district had used a therapy dog after a student committed suicide.
