One state lawmaker wants to pass a law that would allow people to carry a handgun without a permit. State Representative Jim Lucas says applying for a license is “burdensome” and it’s something gun owners shouldn’t have to do. The final draft of the bill is still being prepared and will be submitted in the coming weeks.
