Hunting / Fishing Amendment On Tomorrow’s Ballot
Tomorrow, you’ll be asked to vote yes or no on a constitutional amendment to make hunting and fishing a protected right. It’s an issue that pits the National Rifle Association against animal rights groups. The NRA and elected officials say it’s a necessary amendment to prevent animal rights groups from trying to make hunting illegal, while those animal rights groups want voters to say no to the Hunting / Fishing Amendment because it is poorly written and unnecessary.
