Fire Leads to Meth Charges Against Muncie Woman

Fire leads to meth counts against a Muncie woman. Police say they responded to a blaze at the Earthstone Terrace Housing Complex at about 2pm Tuesday and found what appeared to be a meth lab in the kitchen sink, and a white powdery substance in a baggie nearby. Their follow up investigation lead to the arrest of 45 year old Julie Medlen of the 3500 block of South Juniper Lane. They believe meth was being cooked in the apartment before the fire broke out.
