With three weeks left before Election Day, incumbent Republican Susan Brooks of the 5th Congressional District has a substantial advantage in funds to complete her campaign. Finance records show Brooks with cash on hand of more than one and a quarter million dollars as compared to the 72,000 of her Democratic Party challenger, Angela Demaree.
