ITT Technical Institute made it official Tuesday – they’re closing all facilities across the country. The Carmel-based for-profit college says the closure will put 8,000 people out of work. In addition, 40,000 students will not be able to sign up for classes for this quarter. The school blamed the U.S. Dept. of Education for the closure, saying they had been heavy-handed in dealing with the school’s financial troubles.
