MCS board considers capping travel expenses

The Muncie Community Schools board considering capping the expenses of board members while traveling. Back in April, a board member and board secretrary charged about a thousand dollars each to district credit cards during a two day conference in Boston, and that wasn’t counting the $915 registration fee and airfare. Other expense records obtained by the Star Press show a number of restaurant tabs rung up by board members.
