A Hartford City woman is accused of breaking into a neighbor’s home. 20-year-old Elizabeth Ann McCowan is charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief. Her trial is set for Nov. 15 in Blackford Circuit Court. Authorities allege McCowan and accomplices threw a rock through a window of a home in the 600 block of South Monroe Street and took more than $11,000 in property and caused more than a thousand dollars in damage.
