Alexandria Eyeing New Cop Cars

New police cars could be on the way for Alexandria. The City Council has approved the replacement of three vehicles in the police department. Chief Matt Ellis says the long-term goal is to get the fleet up to the point where they can purchase a new car each year. Ellis says the department is looking at purchasing low-mileage Dodge Chargers, specially-designed to be police cars.
