The Chip Ganassi race team is confirming that Target will no longer sponsor the team’s IndyCar entry. The department store chain had backed Ganassi for 27 years. But with new corporate leadership, Target says they are reviewing their marketing efforts. It is expected that a new sponsor will soon be announced for Scott Dixon’s car.
