Alarming numbers coming from the state showing 66 children died by abuse and neglect in 2014: The causes of death ranged from gunshot wounds, overdoses, beatings and drownings. The report says 54 of the deaths occurred from neglect, and 12 children were abused. The majority of them were from head trauma.
