A Muncie woman – shot and killed Thursday morning – has been identified as 73-year-old Bonnie Franks. Her body was discovered by sheriff’s deputies after the victim’s son called 911 and reported that his girlfriend did it. Police didn’t buy his story; they’ve arrested Richard Franks and charged him with the murder of his mother. Investigators have not revealed the motive behind the shooting.
