Bomb threat investigated at Madison County Courthouse

A man called in a bomb threat this morning to the Madison County Prosecutor’s Office, saying there was a bomb in the Courthouse. The Government Center was evacuated about 9 a.m. while Sheriff’s deputies, Anderson police and fire crews and K-9’s searched for any possible explosives. The Sheriff said they’re working to pinpoint the phone number from which the call was made. Workers got back to the building after the all clear was given by 11 a.m.
