The Alexandria town council is considering raising the cost of water and sewer rates for customers. The increases will be discussed at a hearing at the council meeting on August 1st at the Emery Lee Building in Beulah Park. The increase is being considered because maintenance costs have increased and the council wants to be sure they have enough to cover them.
