Lawyers for the City of Muncie are asking the U.S. District Court in Indy to dismiss a lawsuit filed against the city by local demolition company Shroyer Brothers. It claims they were denied city demolition contracts because it failed to contribute to the local Democratic Party and the Building Commissioner has a conflict of interest because his private companies compete with Shroyer Brothers.
