An elderly Muncie woman was shot to death in her home this morning. 73-year-old Bonnie Lou Franks of West Fleetwood Dr. was shot in the head, and woman’s son called 911 to say his girlfriend did it and left. No one was at the residence when police arrived and later, the son, Richard Franks, was taken in to test for gunshot residue. The woman, 47-year-old Amy Campbell was found walking on South Hoyt Avenue. No one’s been charged while the investigation continues.
