A Muncie Mall shoe store manager is charged with filing a false police report about being robbed of the store’s $903 deposit. 27-year-old Matthew Lunsford allegedly confessed to setting up a fake robbery and splitting the money with him. He also is accused of stealing about a $5000 ring from his mother’s home and pawning it for $75. He’s in jail with a $5,000 bond.
