City Council To Form ‘Homeless’ Committee

How to address the problem of homelessness and those going hungry: The Anderson City Council has approved the formation of a committee to take a look at the issue. Neil Kirby is the executive director at the Anderson Christian Center and says, “We’re looking for cooperation, not money from the city.” Last year the Christian Center served more than 86-thousand meals for those in need and provided shelter for 349 men.
