Yorktown felon charged with strangulation of child

A Yorktown man has been charged for the second time for physically abusing a child. The man is 35-year-old Geron Marsh. He was arrested for strangulation, intimidation and neglect of a dependent after the alleged victim and an adult told police he choked, pushed and threatened to kill the girl who is under 15 years old. He was arrested in January last year for striking a child with a cane, though that charge was dismissed. He’s in jail with bond set at $10k.
