A 16-year old girl was killed in a hit and run and Marion Police looking for the driver.
The coroner says the victim was leaving the house to meet someone when a disturbance began. A car struck the victim at 7th St. and Miller Avenue about 5:40 this morning. The car pushed her into another vehicle, pinning her. She died at the scene, and the striking vehicle fled the scene.
The coroner has not yet released the name of the victim. Marion Police looking for black Pontiac Grand Am or Grand Prix in connection with fatal hit and run.
