Home health impersonator reported in Anderson

A warning to area residents. In Anderson, residents are reporting a woman coming to the homes of elderly people, impersonating a health services employee to gain entrance to the home. The well-dressed woman in her 30’s appeared to be assessing the person’s health, then asked about pain medications. One victim said money was missing from her purse after the woman left. The woman is described as black woman with a light complexion, in her mid-30s, average height and well-dressed. Police say if a public servant comes to your door without an appointment, call 911.
