Enhanced Charges Likely To Be Filed

The Madison County prosecutor says he will likely file enhanced charges against a woman whose mother died of conditions believed to have been caused by neglect. Those additional charges could be filed against 68-year-old Katherine Harvey, of the 300 block of West Sixth Street. The alleged victim, 94-year-old Delores Crowley died of multiple pressure ulcers on the lower half of her body, pneumonia of the upper left lung and septic shock. Crowley had multiple bed sores and was covered in fecal matter on March 18 when Harvey was arrested.
