Sometime this year, the city of Anderson will be issuing a $14.2 million bond for upgrades to the city’s water system. During a special meeting, the Anderson City Council voted 5-0 to approve the bond issue and to refinance two bonds that will save the city approximately $1.4 million in interest charges over the next decade.
