Governor Pence has not said whether or not he will sign the ‘plastic bag bill.’ That is House Bill 1053, which would make it illegal for local governments to bar grocery and other stores from using plastic bags. Governments would also be barred from making any other restrictions on bags, boxes or cups if Pence signs the bill into law.
