New concussion protocols to cover all sports, 5th grade to 12th

A new bill to protect Indiana student athletes from 5th grade to 12th is headed to the Governor’s desk. The concussion protocols will apply to all sports, including cheerleading. It requires all head and assistant coaches to be certifed in player safety and provide immunity for those who comply if damages result from their good faith coaching.
