New Castle man charged with threatening neighbors

A man is charged with threatening his neighbors in New Castle. The Star Press is reporting today that 64-year-old Russell Guffey was arrested on Saturday for allegedly making threats to blow up a neighbor’s house and pointing a gun at the neighbor’s teenager son. He’s in Henry County jail with a $15,000 bond. The man has a history with the sheriff’s office, from previous drunk driving convictions to unlawful use of 911 after repeatedly calling with non-emergencies in 2014.
