A Pendleton investment broker has been sentenced to a year in prison for his role in a fraud scheme. 60-year-old Ronald W. Nichter was sent to federal prison after defrauding his clients by withdrawing 160-thousand dollars from their accounts for his personal use. He also faces two years of supervised release after serving his sentence and must make full restitution.
