88-year-old woman burned in Selma fire

An 88-year-old woman suffered burns and smoke inhalation in a Easter Sunday fire in her home in Selma. She was able to get to a neighbors house for help and taken to IU Health Ball Memorial for treatment of second degree burns to her upper body. The Liberty Township Fire Chief said mutal aid had to be called from Albany, Blountsville and Parker City because some firefighters were out of town for Easter. The fire appears to be accidental.
