A follow up to the story from yesterday, where a 65-year-old Muncie woman allegedly attacked another woman whom she lived with for 30 years. Betty Jean Brooks was arrested when she was released from the hospital for injuries during a fight when she returned to the home after the woman filed a protective order against her. The 67-year-old victim suffered knife wounds to her face, neck and hand. Brooks is being held in the Delaware County jail with a $22,500 bond. She’s charged with aggravated battery, invasion of privacy and domestic battery.
