Police: Muncie women arrested after teen is burned by cooking meth

Two Muncie women were arrested after a 16-year-old girl burned herself while allegedly cooking meth. The teen suffered burns on her thighs while at a home on South Jefferson St on Wednesday night. She was sent to Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis with third-degree burns. The two residents were arrested, 21-year-old Katelyn Fields and 27-year-old Jessica Yaney. They are initially charged with manufacturing meth and maintaining a common nuisance. At last check they were in jail with $10,000 bonds.
