A nighttime crash left two with minor injuries but it proved to be fatal for the horse. Investigators say the horse was in the middle of the road near Markleville when it was hit by a GMC Sonoma. Both occupants were treated for minor injuries at the hospital. The horse’s owner isn’t sure how it got out of its enclosure.
