A Muncie man accused of killing another has asked for a speedy trial and got it. Martize Kirkland is charged in the killing of Jeremy Johnson of Delaware County. His trial is set to begin on March 28th in Marion Superior Court. Prosecutors say Kirkland killed Johnson in an abandoned Indy house because the victim stole a TV and drugs from a common drug house.
