Supporters of the Mounds Lake reservoir say the project isn’t dead. Spokesperson Rob Sparks they believe the plan is still viable and they’re gathering data and seeking the $20 million to $30 million needed for a Phase 3 study of the project. Opponents of the 2,100-acre reservoir have presented an alternative, the Mounds Greenway, a trail system that would extend from Anderson to Muncie.
