Man Living With Animals Accepts Plea Deal

A man charged with animal cruelty that lived in a North Granville Avenue storefront with hundreds of mice, plus an alligator, pythons, and more has accepted a plea deal. 52-year-old Daniel Garonzik, says he wanted to build a wholesale mice-selling business. Garonzik pleaded guilty to littering, fined a dollar plus court costs and the cruelty to animals charge was dismissed. The animals were seized during an August 2014 raid.
