A dramatic rescue from a burning home: Muncie firefighters were able to pull a man to safety after a fire started in his East Cowing Drive home Wednesday afternoon. The man was reportedly breathing and talking to firefighters when he was pulled from that structure. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Fire officials say had the blaze started at night; it could have easily ended up as a fatality.
